Fall 2025 Concert

“Une Belle Melange - Lovely Music for a Sunday Afternoon”

When: Sunday 19 October 2025, 2-6pm

  • 2:00: Call time. Everyone arrives for warm-up and sound checks

  • 3:30: Prepare Stage; Prepare for Audience

  • 4:00: Concert

  • 5:30: Reception and refreshments

  • 5:45: Pack up

  • 6:00: Exit building

Where: Alexandria Lyceum, 201 S Washington St, Alexandria, VA 22314

Ensembles (program may not be in this order):

  1. Beethoven Piano Trio Op 11

    Cate (piano), Nathan (clarinet), Tiago (cello)
    Time allocated: 25 min

  2. Boccherini quartet Op 52 No 1

    Wendy (vn 1), Brendan (vn 2), Ashley (va), Ralph (vc)
    Time allocated: 15 min

  3. Piano/cello duets

    Michelle (piano) , Ralph (cello)
    Rachmaninoff Cello sonata mvt 3; Elgar Salut d’Amour, Saint-Saëns The Swan.

  4. Large Ensemble

    Up to 12 strings TBD
